What is Lisanova?
Lisanova (formerly DilKoç) is a mobile app that helps Turkish-speaking adults learn English, Bosnian, or Spanish. Content is structured across CEFR levels A1 through C1.
Is the app free?
Yes, Lisanova is completely free. There are no ads and no in-app purchases.
How do I download the app?
Lisanova is currently distributed on an unlisted basis. It does not appear in store search results and can only be installed through the invite link you were given.
Account and data
Do I need to verify my email to create an account?
No. You can sign in right after registering, with no email verification step required.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored in the European Union (Frankfurt, eu-central-1) on Supabase infrastructure, encrypted in transit with TLS. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the App, go to Settings → Delete My Account. This permanently deletes your account and all of your data. If you can't access the App, email us instead.
I forgot my password. What should I do?
Use the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in screen, or sign in without a password using an emailed code.
Learning experience
Which level should I start at?
You can pick the language and level that matches your current ability during onboarding, and change it later at any time from Settings.
Do I need to grant microphone access for speaking practice?
Yes. Microphone access is required for free-form AI conversation practice and pronunciation feedback.
Can I change my target language later?
Yes, you can switch between English, Bosnian, and Spanish at any time from Settings.

I ran into a bug or technical issue. What should I do?
